What is Bronchoscopy?
Bronchoscopy is a procedure, by which the physician can examine the patient’s large airways (trachea, bronchi), which are the main way of air delivery to the lungs.
The device used, the fiber-optic bronchoscope, is a slim, flexible telescope wide as a pencil.More information can be found in the file below, by the American Thoracic Society (ATS).
